Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary:

HMI (Hesira Med Inc.) is an importing and distribution company in the startup phase within the medical device industry (specifically dental). This position is full-time with daily travel and home office based. There will be career opportunities as the organization grows and expands. Primary Duties:

  1. Delivery of excellent customer support in an immediate, professional, friendly and efficient manner. 
  2. Initiate customer meetings, in person solicitation and outbound calls to sell to prospects and customers.
  3. Responsible for achieving assigned sales and profit targets.
  4. Develop plans for customer visits, review with manager and maintain detailed customer records to ensure effective follow up. Prepare various presentations, proposals, promotions and exceed expectations.
  5. Regularly communicate with manager as assigned to review status of ongoing projects, understand budget process, promotions and discounting to ensure continued development and understanding of territory, customers, position requirements and business.
  6. Represent company at convention meetings and educational events to promote company, products and services.
  7. Works with assigned manager to receive feedback and coaching on selling process and techniques. Communicates with internal colleagues and provide feedback on customer service & marketing.
  8. Respond accurately to technical questions relating to product, applications, competitor information. 
  9. Prepare and submit daily call reports, weekly sales call schedules, sales forecasts, monthly reports, target account plans, etc.
  10. Update all contact within the CRM system. 
  11. Customer orders completed in accordance with shipping cut-off time.

Essential Duties:

  1. Maintain technical and professional skills by attending education events. Continually maintain knowledge of market and products through self-study.
  2. Communicate with personnel as needed for the purpose of improving the service provided to our customers.
  3. Provide feedback to management regarding customer concerns and/or complaints.
  4. Write routine reports and correspondence.
  5. Comply with company policies and procedures including but not limited to, Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance policies, Travel & Expense policies, etc.
  6. Out of province travel is a requirement.
  7. Other related duties as required.

 

Position Qualification:
Bachelor degree or equivalent plus 2 years related successful territory management experience including:
Demonstrate strong goal orientation, results driven, highly competitive and self motivated with demonstrated successful sales track record.
Demonstrated consultative sales process experience with formalized sales training.
Strong hunter mentality.
Available and able to work evenings and weekends.
Demonstrated integrity with high ethical standards and practice.
Must have a valid provincial issued drivers license.
Ability to utilize a laptop computer with strong working knowledge of Mac & Microsoft products.                                                                                                                   

 

Working Climate:                                                                                                                      
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear, using hands and fingers for phone and computer. The individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
