Endodontically treated molars, lone standing molars, long roots, hypercementosis of roots, submerged roots or simply molars with wide spread furca can be challenging to remove. Every tooth removed is a potential site for replacement with a dental implant.

This one day program will emphasize on:

1. Case selection

2. Atraumactic extraction techniques

3. Review of various biomaterials used for socket grafting

4. Use of simple methods to preserve alveolar dimensions for future dental implant therapy with hands-on

5. Extraction of teeth in porcine mandible with piezo-assisted surgeries, surgical handpieces and instruments

6. Suturing techniques with various types of suture materials (resorbable & non-resorbable).
